The sections
Pick a section. Give it a width.
- Double hang and long hang, with rods drawn and counted.
- Shelf towers, with or without doors.
- Drawers and shelves, and drawer towers with doors above.
- Shoe shelves, with the count you set.
- L corner shelves that turn either corner, and bridge shelves across a corner or a gap.

Corners
The corner is where closet drawings go wrong.
An L corner unit sits in its corner with a leg running along the next wall, and that wall’s sections start after the leg on their own. Move the corner unit and the next wall moves with it. If two runs still meet in a corner, the app says so and suggests the fix — start the second run past the first one’s depth, or turn the corner with L corner shelves or a bridge shelf.
Angled corners work the same way. Type the corner as 135° and the check measures the real outlines, so it tells you how far out the second run must start.
Panels and the cut list
The panel count comes out right.
Closet panels are counted the way the shop builds them: sections plus one per run when neighbors share a panel — the usual — or two per section if your shop runs double panels. Set it once in shop settings.
Shelves, drawer boxes (1" narrower than the opening for the slides, by default) and fronts roll up with the panels, and the sheet goods come out as 4×8 sheets: the parts’ area plus 15%, rounded up. The build set prints the settings it used under the cut list.
Closets and cabinets share one tool, so a laundry wall, a mudroom bench or the vanity in the same bathroom goes in the same design. The printed sets are on the shop drawings page.
