The build set
What prints, sheet by sheet.
- Floor plan — every cabinet numbered, the openings, the corners.
- Elevations — one per wall, fully dimensioned: each box, the gaps, the run overall, window and door positions.
- 3D line view — the room as a flat 3D drawing.
- Cabinet schedule — number, wall, item, code, width, height, depth, fronts and box construction.
- Cut list — parts per cabinet, fronts and drawer boxes rolled up, sheet goods, and the settings it was built to.
Letter or tabloid, landscape. Each sheet is drawn at the largest standard architectural scale that fits it, and the title block carries your shop’s name, phone and email or website, the client, their address, the job number, the scale and the revision. Print it, or save it as a PDF and send it.
Cabinet schedule
Every box, with the code the shop already uses.
The sample kitchen’s schedule, straight from the app. Codes follow the usual pattern — B21, DB3-18, SB36, W3036 — and sizes are W × H × D in inches, heights with the toe kick, depths with the doors.

Cut list
Parts, fronts, drawer boxes and sheets.
For every cabinet: sides, bottoms, stretchers or tops, backs and shelves, plus face-frame stiles and rails when it has them. Here is the sink base from the sample, then the kitchen’s roll-ups.

Built to your settings
The cut list follows your construction.
Box and back thickness, a separate toe base or a notched one, frameless reveals, face-frame stiles, rails and overlay, drawer-box clearance for the slides, counter thickness and the upper line — every number the fronts and parts are figured from lives in shop settings. The defaults are the numbers a working shop drew with; change any of them.
The build set prints the settings under the cut list, so a set pulled out of a file drawer next year still says what it was drawn to.
Built to these settings
- Box 3/4", back 1/2" captured between the sides, fronts 3/4".
- Toe kick 4" high, set back 3" — a separate base; the boxes sit on it.
- Frameless: fronts 1/16" in from the box edge, 1/8" between fronts.
- Face frame: stiles 1 1/2", rails 1 1/2", 3/4" thick, 1/2" overlay, 1/4" past each box side.
- Wiggle room: 1/2" left at each wall end of a run, for out-of-square walls.
- Drawer boxes: 1" narrower than the opening for the slides, at least 1" shorter than the front; depth = slide length.

Both sets come from the same design, so the drawings the client signs and the ones the shop cuts from never disagree. When something changes, revise the design and the new letter prints on both.

What goes in a set of cabinet shop drawings?
The build set Cabinet Maker Pro prints has a floor plan, a fully dimensioned elevation of every wall, a 3D line view, the cabinet schedule with codes like B18 and W3036 and box type, and the cut list. Each sheet carries a title block with the job number, the client and the revision.
What scale are cabinet elevations drawn at?
Each sheet is drawn at the largest standard architectural scale that fits it, such as 1/2" = 1’-0" or 3/8" = 1’-0", and the scale is printed in the title block. Letter or tabloid, landscape.
How is a cabinet cut list figured?
From the box of every cabinet: sides, bottoms, stretchers or tops, backs and shelves, plus face-frame stiles and rails when the cabinet has one. Doors, drawer fronts and drawer boxes roll up by size, and sheet goods come out as the parts’ area plus 15%, rounded up to 4×8 sheets.
Can the cut list use my shop’s construction?
Yes. Shop settings hold the numbers: a 3/4" box with a 1/2" captured back and 4" toe base by default, your reveals, overlays and drawer-box clearance. Make them the shop standard once and every new design starts from them; each set prints them under the cut list.
Is there a separate set for the homeowner?
Yes. The client set has the plan, a 3D picture, simpler elevations without the shop’s build dimensions, the cabinet list and an approval block to sign. Both sets come from the same design, so they never disagree.
